Registration
You warrant that:
The Personal Information which you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and you will notify us immediately of any changes to the Personal Information by contacting Singapore Trading Post by e-mail jo@singaporetradingpost.com , or calling us on 8891 9950 (Monday to Saturday between 10am and 5pm).
You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.
Indemnity
You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of the Conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website, or the use by any other person accessing the Website using your shopping account and/or your Personal Information.
Our rights
We reserve the right to:
- modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website; and/or
- change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed.
If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website.

To provide increased value to our Clients, we may provide links to other websites or resources for you to access at your sole discretion. You acknowledge and agree that, as you have chosen to enter the linked website we are not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and do not review or endorse and are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for (i) the privacy practices of such websites, (ii) the content of such websites, including (without limitation) any advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services on or available from such websites or resources or (iii) the use to which others make of these websites or resources, nor for any damage, loss or offence caused or alleged to be caused by, or in connection with, the use of or reliance on any such advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services available on such external websites or resources.
Ordering
Our online shop will be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The easiest way to place an order is to use the electronic shopping cart in our online shop. You can also order via email to nique@singaporetradingpost.com. Customers will receive an order confirmation with an invoice by e-mail. Therefore it is very important, that you specify a valid email address. Please check the order confirmation carefully and report possible errors immediately to nique@singaporetradingpost.com.
As a benefit to our customers, multiple orders placed within 24 hours (working days) are shipped together. We provide this service to our customers to reduce transport and handling charges.
If the delivery is delayed or the product cannot be delivered in the normal delivery time, we will inform you by e-mail about a new delivery date. Otherwise you will receive delivery information by e-mail.
You can pay in the Singapore Trading Post shop with the following payment providers:

Delivery
Standard delivery is usually within 7 working days. We deliver on Monday & Thursday between 11am – 4pm excluding Singapore national holidays. You may email nique@singaporetradingpost.com if you would like to be contacted on the morning the items will be dispatched.
The delivery costs depend on the size and value of the ordered items. We try to get the lowest transport costs possible and still ensure the quality of delivery.
You will see a delivery quote for your preferred products in your electronic shopping cart.
Cash on delivery is not possible with our online shop. We will try to give you the most accurate transport quote possible. If the actual costs are too much of a difference we will inform you about that.
STP will specify which shop location your order can be collected from. The majority of orders will need be collected from Tan Boon Liat, but some items may only be at our Joo Chiat store. If you are unable to pick up from the store with your order, we can arrange delivery to your address at the normal delivery price as specified on the website.
Limitations
For products shipped internationally, please note that any manufacturer warranty may not be valid; manufacturer service options may not be available; product manuals, instructions and safety warnings may not be in destination country languages; the products (and accompanying materials) may not be designed in accordance with destination country standards, specifications, and labeling requirements; and the products may not conform to destination country voltage and other electrical standards (requiring use of an adapter or converter if appropriate). You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from SingaporeTradingPost.com, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs and/or postal authorities.
Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs and/or postal authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.
If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift," but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form.
Customs authorities require the value of the gift item to be stated directly on the package.
Damage in Delivery
If you have used our online shop, or are unable to take the item with you we offer competitive rates to deliver your purchased item to your home or office. Generally deliveries are made island-wide between Mondays and Saturdays. Please note that all care is taken in delivery of items however occasionally losses or damages may happen. Our Service charges do not include compensation for these situations and in fact all domestic moving companies in Singapore do not guarantee or provide insurance coverage.
Singapore Trading Post advises our clients that if they wish to have third party cover then they would need to arrange this externally.
Return Policies
It is not possible to return items to Singapore Trading Post because you dislike them. Therefore we ask you to check carefully that the ordered product meets your expectations. If you have doubts about something please contact us on 8891 9950 (Monday to Saturday between 11am and 5pm) or email nique@singaporetradingpost.com We would be very happy to help you to avoid trouble.
If the good/s are damaged or malfunctioning when received then Singapore Trading Post will determine whether to replace the item or issue shoppers a refund in the form of credit voucher upon the following conditions:
- Items must have been purchased within the last 7 days
- Items must be accompanied with original receipts.
- Items must be returned in their original packaging.
- Items must be in a re-saleable condition.
PLEASE NOTE:
Customers are responsible for bearing the cost of returning items.
Small Items = $30
Large items = $60
Please bear in mind that:
The majority of our products are hand-made and that the charm and value of the results of the products are also due to small imperfections that make every piece unique.
The pictures provided on the online shop try to reflect the reality. Of course in every environment the lighting is different and this will have minor effect on the colour of the products.
Please note that each of our fabric products come with a specific care label.
Sales Items
Sales items purchased online or instore are non-refundable and will not be exchanged. Items are sold as seen. Please ensure that you check carefully that the ordered product meets your expectations.
Security
Singapore Trading Post deals very carefully with customer data. Your customer data is solely saved to guarantee a seamless delivery and after sales service or to receive news and trends by e-mail.
GENERAL
Intellectual property and right to use
You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of the Website shall remain at all times vested in us or our licensors. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us or our licensors.
You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within the Website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may (if necessary to make a Purchase) download such material and content onto only one computer hard drive for such purpose. Any other use of the material and content of the Website is strictly prohibited. You agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.
Compliance with laws
The Website may be used only for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations regarding the Website and any transactions conducted on or through the Website.

While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the Website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy. The Website is provided on an "as is"and "as available" basis without any representation or endorsement made and we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the Website, or any transaction that may be conducted on or through the Website including but not limited to, implied warranties of non-infringement, compatibility, security, accuracy, conditions of completeness, or any implied warranty arising from course of dealing or usage or trade.
We make no warranty that the Website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the Website. We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the Website.
To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, we disclaim any and all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the Products. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
We will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the Conditions for:
- any economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, profits,
- contracts, business or anticipated savings); or
- any loss of goodwill or reputation; or

Nothing in the Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our servants, agents or employees.
Severance
If any part of the Conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from the Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions of the Conditions.
Waiver
No waiver by us shall be construed as a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding breach of any provision.
Survival
Each provision of the Conditions shall be construed as separately applying and surviving even if for any reason one or other of those provisions is held to be inapplicable or unenforceable in any circumstances.
Entire agreement
These Conditions govern our relationship with you. Any changes to these Conditions must be in writing and signed by both parties. In this way, we can avoid any problems surrounding what Singapore Trading Post Pte Ltd and you are expected to do. You confirm that, in agreeing to accept the Conditions, you have not relied on any representation save insofar as the same has expressly been made a term of these Conditions and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any representation. Your Statutory Rights are not affected by these terms and conditions. Nothing in this Clause shall limit or exclude our liability in respect of any fraudulent or negligent misrepresentation whether or not such has become a term of the Conditions.
Law
The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
